Thank you for your interest in the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Faith Formation program. Families have multiple Faith Formation (CCD) options from which to select at Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. All three options contain features that strive to support parents as the primary educators of their children in the faith and offer families additional resources to help them grow together in their faith.
In the Family Faith Formation option, students meet once a month to complete a lesson with a catechist in their classroom (St. Joseph School), while parents attend a session that provides an opportunity to learn from guest speakers and each other. Parents are also given resources to help them teach two additional faith lessons at home each month.
Traditional Faith Formation (offered in St. Margaret Mary’s Dompka Building) are weekly catechist-led classes. In addition, enrolled families are expected to attend three family events (dates and locations to be announced).
In Homeschool Faith Formation (non-sacrament years), students complete weekly lessons and submit an e-assessment online. Supplemental videos and activities are available through weekly online lesson plans. In addition, enrolled families are expected to attend three family events (dates and locations to be announced).
